Dutch Oven Recipes - Meatballs and Gravy
Meat Mixture:
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. milk
1 egg beaten
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 sleeve ritz crackers, crushed
1/8 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
Gravy:
1 c. milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to taste
Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour; serves 4 to 6 people

Dutch Oven Recipes - Baked Chicken and Rice
2 cups rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup sour cream
1 small onion, diced
6 -8 mushrooms, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
1 Tblsp. worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. garlic
6-8 pieces of chicken
2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Add water, soups, and sour cream to your Dutch oven. Mix well with a wooden or plastic spoon. Next, add onion, mushrooms, and carrots. Stir to mix. Add garlic and worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Place chicken in Dutch oven and sprinkle chicken with poultry seasoning.
Place Dutch oven on coals for 90 minutes. Enjoy!

Dutch Oven Recipes - Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake
2 eggs beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
4 tsp. melted shortening
2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
Dash of Salt
Sugar Mixture:
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
In your Dutch oven, combine the eggs, milk, sugar and shortening. Mix well with a wooden or plastic spoon. Now, add your flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Make sugar mixture in a small bowl. Use about half of the sugar mixture to make four mounds on top of the batter. Use a plastic handle to swirl the mounds of sugar into the batter.
Put the Dutch oven on the coals for about 20 minutes. Then sprinkle the remaining sugar mixture on the top of the coffee cake and let bake for another 10 minutes.
